Michael Lorenz (born 1963 in Saarbrücken, Germany) studied Law and Economics in Freiburg, Taipei, Vienna, and Paris. After completing his studies, he worked as Head of the Legal Department of the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.

In 1997, he founded the law firm Lorenz & Partners in Bangkok. From the outset, the firm has focused not only on legal consulting, but also on providing practical management support to its clients. In 2005, he established Lorenz & Partners (Hong Kong) Limited, further strengthening the firm’s regional presence.

As he first German-speaking lawyers established in Thailand, Michael Lorenz has extensive experience in corporate, commercial, and tax law. He advises international clients on investments, corporate structuring, and cross-border business activities, with a particular focus on Thailand and Asia.

A key element of his advisory work is ensuring that client activities are structured in full compliance with applicable legal and tax requirements.
